2.       Easy to use websites that are optimized for mobile and tablets.

If you do not have a website, you are losing out on a huge customer base. 97% of people use the internet to find products and services. Over 65% of searches are done on a mobile device. A well-functioning, professional website is essential to drawing in the customers who are searching for your products and services.

3.       Neglecting SEO

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is vital to appearing high in organic searches on search engines. Thinking about your own searches, how often do you go beyond the first or second page? Neither will your customers. Get noticed with good SEO best practices.

4.       Understand your customer

Reach your customers where they are tuning into most often, based on their interests. That may not be aligned with your personal tastes. If your current advertising is not getting the desired ROI, use analytics to get a better understanding of your customers.

5.       Rewards programs

Customers respond to incentives, and rewards programs can be very successful to driving business. However, customers expect to redeem points every 3 – 6 months. If your rewards program does not meet the customer’s expectations, your card will no longer take up valuable space in their wallets.
